Mufti Shah Rafi Uddin Hamdani

Mufti Shah Rafi Uddin Hamdani is a distinguished Islamic scholar, Researcher,
Author, Editor, Trainer, Entrepreneur and Activist from Pakistan, known
for his extensive contributions to Seerah (Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), Islamic
research, social welfare, and education. He has a rich and diverse academic background,
having completed his BBA in Marketing in 2013 from the Institute of Business
Administration (IBA), Karachi, followed by an MBA (8 courses) from
Bahcesehir University, Istanbul, Dars-e-Nizami and Takhassus fil Fiqh (Masters in
Islamic Theology with specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence) from Aleemiyah
Institute of Islamic studies and M.Phil. in Business Administration
from Greenwich University, Karachi. Along with his formal education, he has completed
several Research Certifications, including courses from Stanford
University, the University of London, and Harvard
University.
He plays several key roles in Islamic and research institutions. Most prominently,
he serves as the Secretary General and Director of the Research Division of the
the Encyclopedia of Muhammad ﷺ project. He is also the Chief Architect of the search
engine muhammadencyclopedia.com, a specialized research based comprehensive and
authentic resource on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and has dedicated
his life to serving this sacred mission.
Till date, he has authored 200+ research articles and edited more than 300 research
articles in English, and Urdu, and supervised the research publications in Arabic
for the Encyclopedia of Muhammad ﷺ project. Furthermore, he is the focal person
for coordinating the development of research articles of Encyclopedia of Muhammad
ﷺ in German, Dutch, Chinese, Spanish, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese and Hindi. He
has also conducted workshops on ‘Research Methodology’ – a six-week workshop for
training scholars in conducting research. Additionally, he has authored the book
The Holy Quran is Infallible: A Research-Based Detailed Response to the Geographical
Allegations on The Holy Quran and is also serving as a member of Board of Directors
of various Socio-Religious, Educational and Welfare Organizations of Pakistan, including
Anjuman Qamar ul Islam Sulemania and Zia ul Quran Sulemania lil Banaat.
